To develop and grow, the SSA needs the collaboration of all members. The goal is to work together in gaining strength, especially in the area of health politics. This will not only benefit patients abut also each member. The membership fee supports the political representation of the association's interests, the tariff and quality work and also the further development of angiology in terms of professionality and public affairs.
Several memberships are possible in the SSA:
- Ordinary members: Ordinary Members are physicians and academics who are clinical or scientifically engaged in the field of angiology..
- Associate members: any physician or researcher interested in vascular medicine but with no angiology title
- Junior members: This membership is valid for all residents and senior physicians who are in postgraduate training to become a specialist in angiology.
- Corresponding Members: Personalities who have rendered board.
- Honorary members: Honorary members are elected upon proposal of the Board.
- Collective Members: Associations and companies may join the society as collective members upon application.
- Senior members: Transfer to senior membership will take place at the request of the member concerned, at the earliest at the beginning of the year following retirement.

«Ordinary Member»
- Ordinary Members are physicians and academics who are clinical or scientifically engaged in the field of Angiology and have a specialist title in Angiology.
- To become a member, a written application addressed to the President must be sent together with the recommendation of two ordinary members.
- The annual membership fee will be determined by the general assembly each year.
«Junior Member»
- This membership is valid for all residents and senior physicians who are in postgraduate training to become a specialist in angiology.
- To become a junior member, an application to the President must be submitted, naming 2 mentors who are ordinary members of the SGA. The membership is not transferable.
- There is a reduced membership fee for junior members.
The General Assembly meets once a year and will decide on membership applications. The decision about the admission will be announced as soon as possible.
